On this day 18 years ago I lost my older brother Justin, I sit here remembering riding with him in his 65 Chevy pickup truck. It was booger green in color and in pretty bad shape. He didn’t care, that truck was his freedom and sense of accomplishment.
We would ride around blasting Metallica “one” and the rest of every cassette he could get his hands on. His stereo sounded terrible, kind of like an alarm clock all treble and no bass but we didn’t give a shit we were metal as fuck.
His interior was shredded and dirty. His air freshener was skoal cans and gasoline. My brother was an honest hardworking man and a great Marine. His life was cut short in 96 at the age of 21 and never getting to really experience what life really was.
I miss him terribly and type this with a heavy heart sorry for the typing errors and thanks for reading my emo post.
R.I.P. bro until I see you on the other side.
